Our studio has always been known for doing a lot of black and grey work and our previous convention awards always reflected this. Now, it wasn’t something that was openly talked about by our artists but I can tell it’s been on the back on our minds. It was kind of like an unspoken milestone we’ve always wanted to accomplish. This past year I think there was a shift in focus to do more color pieces and thankfully our clients have also been requesting for them, which definitely made it easier for us. So, this past convention was extremely rewarding. We were able to win Best Medium Colour Tattoo, Best Large Colour Tattoo, and 2 Best Back Piece Tattoo (both of which were full color). Of course, we will continue to do and love black and grey work, but this is a huge step in our evolution. We want to thank all of our clients who came out to support us and spend the weekend with us. We love you guys and we will be making prints for you guys to say thank you. It’s been 5 years and counting, while we might continue to evolve our style, one thing will remain unchanged, we will continue to try to bring you guys the best tattoos we possibly can.
