Chronic Ink Is Moving

Chronic Ink Is Moving

We thought this day would never come, but now it's here and are we ever excited! Over the years, we’ve grown quite attached to our downtown tattoo parlour, but the time has finally come for us to grow into a larger space so that we can better meet our clients needs, and deliver the tattooing experience that we always strive to give. Here are the quick facts on our move: Where are we going?: 252 Eglinton Avenue East, a brisk walk east of the Yonge and Eglinton subway station. When is this happening?: February 7th will be our last day at our current location. On February 8th, we’ll be switching the lights on at our new location. What does this mean about my booking?: All bookings are going to be maintained exactly as they are. The only difference will be which shop you go to starting on February 8th. We’re going to be working super hard to make sure that this move happens between us closing on the 7th and opening on the 8th. We will make this transition as seamless as possible for all of our customers. On top of this, all of our staff and artists will also be exactly the same, from whoever is manning the front desk to the artist working on your new sleeve, your experience will be exactly the same (just with more space to move around). Why is Chronic Ink Moving?: While we have always loved our Yonge St. shop, it was getting too small. We’ve got a great roster of tattoo artists putting out their best work yet and we want to make sure that they have the space to continue to do so. At our new location you can expect:
  1. More open and spacious artist stations: While our old location can be defined as cozy and intimate, sometimes you just need a little more wiggle room and that’s what we’re aiming for at the new location.
  2. A new and completely private piercing space: Piercing is finally going to have a place it can call home at Chronic Ink.
  3. A great big open lounge area: The new lounge is going to be much more comfortable while you’re waiting and can double as a cool area to work through your consultation with your artist!
At the end of the day, we’re making this move to provide you all with a better experience. We hope you’re going to love the new location, which is still so close to the Yonge and Eglinton subway station! Have any questions about the move and what it means for you? Feel free to get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to answer your questions Check out some of the photos we have of the new place!: new tattoo shop window new tattoo shop main floor new tattoo shop counter
