What is microblading?
Microblading is a process of applying semi-permanent ink to create the illusion of more full, flawless eyebrows. It has dramatically grown in popularity over the past few years as fashion and beauty trends have embraced the visibility of eyebrows. Gone are the days of invisible, pencil line eyebrows and oh, are we thrilled! If you are hoping for picture-perfect brows without the work of drawing them on every day, microblading might be the choice for you. Think of microblading eyebrows like traditional, tattooed permanent makeup, but with a more natural appearance and less invasive process. An artist uses tiny tattoo needles to make small cuts in the skin. These cuts are thin and short like natural eyebrow hair. Then, the artist fills these cuts with ink. After the incisions heal, inked brows that look natural and turn heads are all that remain. Microblading is semi-permanent and will last between 12 and 18 months if cared for properly. There is a healing period of around two weeks, during which you must be extremely careful of your new eyebrows. They will go through phases of looking way too dark, then scabbed, and finally disappointingly light before settling into your new normal. After the microbladed brows heal, however, you'll save a lot of time on your makeup routine. Finally, you'll be able to claim, "I woke up like this!" and mean it. Sometimes, touch-ups are necessary for people with oily skin or who spend a lot of time outdoors. For most people, however, this is merely a minor inconvenience, and the procedure is worth it overall. What is microshading?
Microshading involves tiny dots of ink used to fill in your eyebrow area, instead of the hair-mimicking fine lines used in microblading. Microblading helps to create eyebrows where you previously had none, while microshading fills in your existing brows. Microshading eyebrows creates less dramatic changes to your overall brows while still leaving your face worthy of creating others' brow dreams. Microshading is ideal for people with oily or sensitive skin. Sometimes, these conditions cause eyebrow microblading in Toronto to be less effective or even unsuccessful. Microshading works well for everyone, regardless of skin type or existing brows, as long as it is applied correctly and cared for appropriately. It is easier to create ombre brows and color variation using a microshading technique. Additionally, it will sometimes look more natural because it compliments your existing brows instead of painting in new ones. Often, quality artists will use a combination of microblading and microshading for the ultimate eyebrow transformation. This combination creates opportunities to fully enhance existing eyebrows while taking them to the next level. Regardless of your natural brows and desired look, our team of artists can make them happen with one or both of these techniques.Where can you get your eyebrows microshaded in Toronto?

The best way to take care of your eyebrows after a microblading or microshading procedure is to do nothing. It will be trying not to take any action whatsoever, but it will be worth the challenge. When you undergo a microblading procedure, your body experiences trauma with each scrape or poke of the needle. Your body has all of the tools that it needs to recover from the cuts that you put it through if you give it time. To properly heal itself, your eyebrow area must stay dry. Water must not touch it. When you shower or wash your face, you must be careful to avoid drips running over your brows. If trickles do happen, dry your eyebrows immediately. It also means that you must avoid any activities that cause you to sweat profusely for 10 days to two weeks after your appointment. Salty, damp foreheads and healing eyebrow ink don't mix well. You'll also have to avoid pools, saunas, or jacuzzis. The steam from these will also - you guessed it - slow down the healing process. We know this sounds like a lot of sacrifices, but we promise it's worth it and isn't for very longReady to get fuller looking eyebrows?
