We will remember 2013 for the year we all decided we will stick together to try to be great, not just good but great. There’s a difference.
Let us explain.
One of the biggest difference about our studio (from our perspective) is that we have a bunch of amazing artists that have made conscious decisions to sacrifice their egos to all work under one roof. (Believe us, it’s not common) Many artists want to be ‘the man’ or ‘the Head Artist’ of a studio and we certainly have a few that can carry that title, but our guys cherish the potential to do amazing art more.
There’s something about working beside someone who’s banging out amazing pieces that elevates your game like no other. It’s the explosive power of a whole lot of talent co-existing in one place. It’s something magical and it’s really hard to explain. You really have to be here with us everyday to understand what that feels like.
Chronic Ink is home to 5 award-winning artists and we plan to have many more in the future. The reason we are able to improve so much and so quickly is because we push each other to be better every single day.
So, we will remember this year as the year that TONy and BKS decided they would make Chronic Ink their permanent homes. This is the year we came together as a true family that extends beyond art and tattoos; this is the year we all decided we would be stronger as a group than as individuals - all in the name of being great, and all in the name of producing the best art we possibly can.
